Mount and blade warband mods game of thrones
For those of you who may be new to modifying games, the directions are pretty simple. Borcha or Deshavi are the companions for that.ĮDIT: And finally, if you are outclassed either run or pay up.Installing mods for Warbands is pretty easy for anyone who has modded a game before. Pathfinding, Tracking and Spotting as a must for a lot of players but can be attained by hiring certain companion characters. Unless you invest in the Trade Skill, trading is not as viable as taking prisoners and selling them off. If you want to risk it try your hand in Tournaments, bet on yourself but make sure you win. Invest in a club or mace and knock out some looters and sell them off at ransom brokers or the Slaver that can be found at the Nord capital. When you are done with this you should be around level 10 and have a solid foundation for your character.īlunt weapons and Prisoner management is a gold mine with fighting involved. The good thing when you develop INT is that you get an extra skill point, use the extra skill point accordingly. When that is done, go for INT for Tactics and Trainer, an other 9 at INT and 3 and 3 at the skills. This can be done on your first few levels Aim for a 9 at CHA and 3 and 3 for leadership and prisoner management. This will probably be your first task for your early levels.
Next you have to focus on Charisma for leadership and prisoner management. This can easily be covered in character creation, then use your skill points accordingly, for me Iron Flesh and Power Strike is a must but if you prefer the bow, go for power draw. Your first focus should be strength and agility, aim for a 12 at STR and 9 at AGI, this should make your character able to use most mid to high level equipment of the game.
MOUNT AND BLADE WARBAND MODS GAME OF THRONES MOD
(Like the various diplomacy/management/trade mods.) The mod community needs to develop some standards, which is often the case with many mod communities.Īs someone with probably 300+ hours at M&B (150 on Steam and at least as much on Pre Steam version) I can give some tips. Some won't take effect until the very late game. Warband isn't a game in which you can easily devote a bit of time to discovering how the mods effect the game. I love the mods offered, but I can't stand the somewhat disorganized way in which information concerning those mods often gets communicated. I dislike playing Warband without that mod, but the mod-community is fairly esoteric and there are few standardized methods of mod presentation and information. But, when I load up a mod that professes to include that modpack, it's cut-down and limited or just plain doesn't work. I find that these two features drastically improve the combat model (including the accompanying AI). When I load up other mods, I find many features that I miss, especially all the "pre-combat" whatsits and the mini-map hud. It's quite difficult to track mod-packs and the like in these mods. I've been looking at this mod a little bit, but haven't installed it yet. It may not be sci fi but it's got more sand in its box than Disco with no laser. If you've never tried warband, pick it up. If you liked Warband, give this a try, it does more than breathe new life into it. And knowing GoT, they're all going to be bastards. It's not, currently, about my personal power, it's about finding a faction that I believe in and want to support. He told me that when he was King he would outlaw turnips (or some such). I don't want to be King of Caladria (sp?) anymore, I want to kill Joffrey. completely makes me change the way I think about the game. And I don't know whether I can even get to "the north" which is my current aim. It took me six starts to even get a start. I think it's overlaid on the top of the Floris mod, which adds a lot of depth and richness to the game (though if this includes the texture packs I don't know). Nasty, brutish, violent, cruel, vicious and overwhelming in terms of being a very small fish in a very large pond. The "A Clash of Kings" Game of Thrones mod is, simply, amazing.
Rather than necro an old Mount and Blade thread I'd thought I'd start a new one.
